• 6+ years of experience in core Java, with 3 or more related areas of:
• Cloud SQL or MySQL
• Big Query,
• BI and analytics, Plx scripts, Workflows,
• Distributed query engines (similar to Google Dremel/F1),
• Hybrid database engines (SQL/ NonSQL),
• Distributed SQL database management (similar to Spanner).
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in managing data warehouse/data mart/data lakes preferably in cloud
• Knowledge and experience in 5 or more related areas of:
• Dimensional Modeling & Data Warehousing
• Cloud identity and access management
• Defining fine grained granular/row/column level access policies
• Monitoring cloud quota policies
• Synchronous data replication systems and troubleshooting data latency
• Data filtering views, materialized views
• Scheduling and troubleshooting of automated jobs/ backups/PubSub (asynchronous event listening) - example BorgCron
• Defining data schemas/ metadata/ data slices
• ETL jobs/pipelines in core Java and Python (similar to Clarinet, Replicator)
• Monitoring of sync services/ events and APIs across multiple systems/
• Data Security enforcement, provisioning and monitoring services
• Functional knowledge of Corporate Finance Structure, HR Functional Structure to start with.
• Experience in working on large user permission management systems across large/diverse data assets/objects and performing authorization/policy checks - (preferred)
• past google experience is a plus
