Position Overview

Filter of Hope is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant / Senior Accountant to oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of our growing global ministry.

This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounting processes, preparing monthly financial reports, and ensuring compliance with nonprofit accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, experience working in QuickBooks, and a heart for Christian ministry.

This role plays a key part in maintaining financial excellence and stewarding donor resources with integrity.

    Qualifications
  • • Maintain and manage accounting records in QuickBooks
    • Maintain organized digital financial files and supporting documentation
  • • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance3+ years
    • accounting experience
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles
    • Experience using QuickBooks
    • Strong Excel and financial reporting skills
    • Highly detail-oriented and organized
    • High integrity and commitment to financial accuracy
    • Must fully support and be aligned with Filter of Hope’s mission and statement of faith

    Candidates must live within 40 miles of Tuscaloosa.
