With over 1,600 members, Westchester Country Club offers world-class facilities including the main club property and the beach club on the Long Island Sound. Club members enjoy two championship golf courses and a 9-hole executive course, comprehensive tennis and squash facilities, various dining options, an on-site fitness facility and indoor pool, and other specialized amenities. Westchester Country Club also has two large banquet rooms, conference facilities, member apartments, and guest accommodations.
ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of the Beach Club Locker Rooms, Bathrooms, Rotunda, Gun Club restaurant, and all common areas.
WHAT YOU'LL DO The Housekeeping Attendant must complete all tasks and assignments assigned by the Beach Club Manager, including but not limited to:
- Maintain stock of supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc.) across Beach Club, restocking in a timely manner as necessary
- Clean all Club bathrooms, sinks, mirrors, and showers using proper cleaning methods and supplies
- Perform regular checks of all assigned areas, ensuring cleanliness levels and supply stocks are maintained
- Clean Rotunda furniture and ensure area is organized at all times
- Report all Member concerns to Beach Club Manager
Complete additional assignments as assigned by Beach Club Manager
WHAT YOU'LL NEED - Trained in proper chemical handling and Blood Borne Pathogens handling techniques preferred
- Ability to communicate in conversational English preferred
- Must be able to work a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Must present professional appearance and attitude at all times, maintaining a high level of member service
- Must have ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and desire to assist Members and team members
- Working across various Beach Club areas, both indoors and outdoors.
PAY RANGE $18.00- $19.50 hourly compensation, commensurate with experience
