Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Production Control Specialist to join their team. As a Production Control Specialist, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting inventory management and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive communication, and a commitment to continuous improvement, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Greenville, AL

Pay Range: $20.00- $25.00

Shift:

What's the Job?

• Manage and oversee all inventory control activities, including investigating, analyzing, and resolving supplier quality issues.
• Conduct audits, analyze defect trends, and lead continuous improvement projects related to supplier control.
• Capture variance and investigate abnormal trends between SAP inventory data and physical counts to identify root causes and implement countermeasures.
• Collaborate daily with quality, production, shipping, and material departments to optimize inventory flow and accuracy.
• Review product specifications and work-flow analyses to guide production staff and ensure manufacturing quality standards are met.

What's Needed?

• Experience with inventory management systems, particularly SAP and WMS.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify root causes of issues.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
• Knowledge of quality assurance processes and statistical process control (SPC) methods.
• Ability to develop and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and flow.
