  6. Companionship: Engage in friendly conversation, provide emotional support, and offer companionship to reduce feelings of isolation.

  7. Transportation: Accompany clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands as required.

  8. Monitoring Health: Keep a watchful eye on the client's health, noting any changes in condition and reporting them to the appropriate medical professionals or family members.

  9. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of care provided, including medication administration, changes in health, and daily activities.

  10. Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of the client, taking precautions to prevent accidents and falls.

Requirements:

  1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional healthcare certifications or training may be required, depending on state regulations and company policies.

  2. Experience: Prior experience in caregiving, either professionally or as a family caregiver, is preferred.

  3. Compassion: Display empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for seniors.

  4. Physical Fitness: Must be physically capable of assisting with mobility and lifting if necessary.

  5. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients, their families, and the healthcare team.

  6. Reliability: Punctuality and dependability are essential qualities for this role.

  7. Flexibility: Be adaptable and able to handle unexpected situations or changes in the client's needs.
