What You Will Do:
Youwillbe responsible forworking with a variety of customers in the hospitality and other commercial businessestoidentifyand solve pest problems
Keep abreast of Ecolab's product/service offerings and industry conditions, to enhance service and sales of pest prevention/elimination solutions
Use handheld computerized equipment to manage service and document structural, sanitation and pest issues, andgas monitoring equipment to conduct readingsduring fumigations
Assistwith the complete fumigation process, including but not limited to sealing, tarping, introduction of fumigant, conducting fume readings, and aerating/de-gassingfacilities
Read, understand, follow labels, and MSDS forms for hazardous chemicals used during services provided
Inspect,maintain, andutilizePersonal Protection Equipment (PPE) properly
Follow proper safetyprotocolsincludingOSHA mandatedand customerspecified guidelines
Use equipment involved infumigationmanagement services, including electronic devices for recording and reporting data
Position Details:
As an Industry leader, it is no surprise Ecolab offers a world class training program designed to provide the tools and resources for you to be one of the best in your field. During your training program, you willbe requiredto travel to Ecolab Corporate Headquarters in Saint Paul, Minnesota for 1 of the7weeks. The remaining weeks will be in-field training. Ecolab will arrange and pay for your travel and certain travel-related expenses.
This position requires successful completion of the7-week in-field and classroom training program tomaintainemployment.2 of the weeks will be focusing on fumigation and the other 5 on pest elimination.
This is a field-based position and may require travel to the following cities and surrounding areas:
Baltimore MD
Monday - Friday Combination Shift 50% of route is day work & 50% of route is overnight/graveyard work (9/10pm to 5/6am)
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diplomaor equivalent
Twoyearsofwork or military experience
Position requires a current and valid Driver's License
Due to the nature and hours of work, must be 18 years of age or older
Willingness to beon-callduring off work hours and weekends as necessary
Position requires the ability to work overnight shifts as needed
Anticipate 50% or more overnight travel for business during peak season
Positionrequiresunderstandingand interpretingEnglishlabels andSafety Data Sheets (SDS)for hazardous chemicals
Position requires the ability to obtain aTWIC cardto access secure facilities
Position requires the ability to obtaina CDL with Hazmat endorsement
Position requires the ability to obtain required pest certification, fumigation licensing,and/or business licensingpursuant tostate/local law
Ecolab conducts a background check on all candidates who receive a job offer
Due to federal contract requirements, this Pest Elimination position requires a drug test including THC for all candidates who receive a job offer

Position requireslifting/pushing/pulling/carryingup to70 pounds chest high
Position requires working in a variety of conditions which may include confined spaces, damp and/or dusty locations, freezing and hot conditions, extreme heightsofup to 150 feet, and use of ladders, scissor lifts, or arial boom lifts
Essential duties of the position include lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching,bending,reaching,climbing,using hands and fingers, balancing, walking, standing,talkingand hearing
Drive a company vehicle asrequiredto perform job duties (pre-employment and ongoing motor vehicle record checks will be performed todetermineeligibility to drive a company vehicle)
Preferred Qualifications:
Previouscustomer service experience
Previouspest elimination industry or route experience
Experience with readingproduct labels, computingand mixingaccurateconcentrations of chemicals, followingall label requirements
Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The pay range for this position is $53,600-$80,300. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.Benefits
