We are looking for a Business Process Outsourcing Manager – Dealership Services to join our Advisory Department. As a Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Running the day-to-day financial operations of our clients including the general ledger, payables, receivables, payroll, collections, and financial reporting
  • Monitoring our team's usage of our internal procedures, processes, and controls
  • Managing both onshore and offshore staff on an ongoing basis as they perform transactional activities, technical accounting activities, and synthesize data into reports or analysis for the clients
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and requirements
  • Managing communications with vendors, customers, partners, shareholders, banks, and other interested parties for each client
  • Managing journal entries, reconciliations, and coordinating the overall effort for the monthly and annual closing processes
  • Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Reviewing the company's accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances
  • Converting customers to new accounting systems and performing cleanup activities on clients' books and records
  • Advising and assisting with technical accounting decisions
  • Developing models and analysis for client requests
  • Encouraging ongoing improvement of internal operations, taking input from key business stakeholders (or senior staff) and developing process, technology, or structural improvements
Qualifications
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication skills and is highly effective in developing trusted relationships in person, over the phone, and through written communications
  • Proven experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or other similar position
  • Experience with large and small dealership groups and ability to communicate effectively with ownership, office personnel and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes and of the structure necessary to run them efficiently and effectively (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.)
  • Knowledge and experience of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
  • Understanding of data analysis and forecasting
  • Experience with Dealership Management Systems including Tekion, CDK, Reynolds and Reynolds, Dealertrack, Automate as well as other accounting software programs, Quickbooks, netsuite and other applicable as needed.
  • Expert in Excel
  • Ability to adapt to AI inclusive objectives for dealers and internally.
  • Well-organized with ability to prioritize
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a relevant field is preferred
  • Experience participating in an ERP implementation is a plus
  • Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus
  • Experience with acquisition accounting a plus including buy/sell and APA knowledge.
  • Ability to market yourself and drive new business growth a plus
  • Article Writing capabilities a plus
