Overview Join Ecolab's team as a Lab Technician in Garland, TX. Perform biological and chemical analyses, support formulation development, and contribute to continuous improvement by evaluating processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities Assist in development of formulations for a variety of applications Responsible for all steps of routine experimentation including sample prep, equipment orientation, instrument control, data processing, and analysis Conduct product performance and field testing Approve, hold, and/or reject products based on laboratory analysis versus specifications Ensure compliance with current regulatory requirements, follow GMP guidelines for data reporting, and prepare validation protocols, raw data generation, and final reports Reexamine borderline results, research technical literature, and communicate opportunities for process improvements Multi-task across multiple projects to meet completion deadlines Recommend testing parameters, complete experiments and project work as assigned Provide analytical and technical support for quality-related product investigations Complete data reviews for out-of-specification test results and issue SPC charts of historical results Optimize and recommend lab improvements to support 5S initiatives Other duties as assigned Position Details Plant Location: Garland, TX Work Week & Shift: C shift, Mon to Fri, 9:30 PM – 5:30 AM Overtime may be required depending on business needs Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Associate's Degree 2 years laboratory or quality control experience in a related industry PC skills in Excel, Word, and Access Familiarity with laboratory safety procedures Immigration sponsorship is not offered for this role Preferred Qualifications Strong background in scientific skills and lab analysis Training with HPLC, FTIR, Viscometer, Auto titration, or other instruments Experience troubleshooting test methods and lab equipment Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical skills and knowledge of basic statistical principles Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities What7s in it for You Starting on Day 1: access to comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, pension, stock purchase plan, paid parental leave, and more Opportunity to tackle meaningful challenges, helping customers achieve clean water, safe food, and healthy environments Opportunity to shape your career with a company that values growth Supportive culture that embraces diverse people, perspectives, and ideas About Ecolab At Ecolab, we prioritize a talent-first philosophy with a diverse team to excel at our nearly three million customer sites. Compensation and Benefits Annual compensation range: 41,500.00 – 62,300.00 USD, depending on experience, education, and location.
