Job Description

Our client is seeking a Project Manager / Team Lead to oversee end-to-end project delivery across multiple client engagements within a fast-paced financial services environment. This individual will be responsible for driving execution, managing stakeholder communication, improving operational processes, and leading a high-performing team. The ideal candidate brings strong project management expertise, leadership capabilities, and experience working within financial services environments, particularly around onboarding, KYC, or derivatives-related operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Project & Delivery Management

  • Own end-to-end project delivery across multiple client engagements, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are consistently achieved
  • Lead project planning efforts, including scope definition, resource allocation, workflow design, and execution strategy
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing communication, expectations, and regular project status updates
  • Facilitate recurring project meetings, monitor progress against milestones, and proactively mitigate risks or blockers
  • Partner cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless coordination and execution
  • Monitor and report on project metrics, KPIs, and overall team productivity
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement scalable process improvements to enhance delivery outcomes
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across workflows, tools, and delivery models

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members while fostering a high-performance, accountable team culture
  • Set clear goals and expectations, providing ongoing coaching, guidance, and real-time feedback
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support employee growth and career development planning
  • Effectively allocate work across the team based on priorities, bandwidth, and skillsets
  • Promote collaboration and communication across both junior and senior team members

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience with a strong focus on project management and team leadership
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience leading or mentoring team members with a hands-on leadership approach
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across all organizational levels
  • Financial services experience required, ideally with exposure to derivatives, onboarding, or KYC processes
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and execution-focused mindset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to drive decision-making
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills preferred
