ECS is seeking a Junior Project Manager to work in our Fairfax, VA office. ECS is seeking a highly motivated Junior Project Manager to support a portfolio of dynamic initiatives for a Department of Defense (DoD) customer, including AI/ML innovation, Gen AI and Large Language Model (LLM) integration, and strategic cloud efforts.
This position is ideal for an early-career professional ready to step into a project management role, who is technically curious, organized, and eager to grow in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment supporting cutting-edge technologies.
You will work closely with Project Managers, Technical Leads, government customers, and engineering teams to help plan, coordinate, and execute a range of evolving special projects. This is a hybrid role, with onsite work expected in Fairfax and Springfield, VA (3+ days/week), with flexibility based on program needs.
The successful candidate will work closely with government customers, commercial vendors, and traditional federal contractors to shape and execute technical priorities. You'll work with interdisciplinary teams, balance competing priorities, and ensure mission success through sound project planning, stakeholder management, and adaptive problem-solving.
