For more information, visit corporate.carrier.com or follow Carrier on social media at @Carrier.**Key Responsibilities*** Reviews travelers, print, and insulation BOM; verifies material availability and condition.* Confirms vacuum integrity before starting insulation (per leak test protocol).* Cuts, fit, and install insulation on shells, heads, and piping; applies adhesives, bands, or jacketing as specified.* Completes check sheets for vacuum readings pre/post insulation (critical for leak detection traceability).* Strict adherence to EHS protocols, including respirator fit test and PPE (gloves, sleeves, scissors, knives, etc.).**Required Qualifications*** High School Diploma or GED* 2+ years of experience in industrial insulation or manufacturing assembly/warehouse* 2+ years of experience in fabrication and fitting insulation with high-mix product environments* Physical ability to work in awkward positions such as, kneeling, lying down and overhead, and climb & work from a ladder and lift up to 50 pounds**Preferred Qualifications*** Ability to stand and walk for most of the workday* Ability to interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and cut lists with high accuracy* Formally trained in overhead crane operation and comfortable working from heights/ladders* Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills for effective coordination with supervisors and cross-functional departments* Ability to support production needs through overtime and weekend shifts as required**Benefits**Employees are eligible for benefits, including:* **Health Care benefits**: Medical, Dental, Vision; wellness incentives* **Retirement benefits*** **Time Off and Leave**: Paid vacation days, up to 15 days; paid sick days, up to 5 days; paid personal leave, up to 5 days; paid holidays, up to 13 days; birth and adoption leave; parental leave; family and medical leave; bereavement leave; jury duty; military leave; purchased vacation* **Disability**: Short-term and long-term disability* **Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment*** **Tax-Advantaged Accounts**: Health Savings Account; Healthcare Spending Account; Dependent Care Spending Account* **Tuition Assistance**To learn more about our benefits offering, please click here: Work With Us | Carrier Corporate The specific benefits available to any employee may vary depending on state and local laws and eligibility factors, such as date of hire and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.**Pay Range**The hourly rate for this position is between $15.00 - $30.00 per hour.
