Werab Enterprises is seeking a General Laborer/Operator to join our company. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting on excavating jobs, operating heavy machinery, a variety of hand and power tools, shoveling of material as well as following all site health and safety regulations. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential. CDL A is required, to transport equipment, deliver stone/sand. Health insurance is offered after 90 days, vacation after 1 year, paid holidays, 401K plan available .

Responsibilities

• Unload tools, prepare site and materials, and set up equipment
• Follow project instructions from the manager or supervisor
• Consult with construction plans
• Direct traffic safely around the construction or road maintenance site if required
• Use construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasks
• Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment
• Ensure regulated and proper headgear, earplugs, gloves, safety glasses, and clothing are worn
• Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
• Safely operate a variety of tools including pressure washers, jackhammers, drills, saws, grinders, and blowtorches
• Clean and clear debris and materials
• Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly
• Be able to switch to driving truck if needed, license required

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent educational experience; vocational school or trade apprenticeships a plus
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test
• Clean MVR
• CDL A 
• Experience in operating machinery, driving service truck
• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds
• Must be comfortable working in outdoor weather
• Positive attitude and work ethic, Punctual
• Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
• Work day is estimated from 7:30-5:00, some Saturdays are required but not typical.
