Republic Services is seeking safety-focused, reliable Company Drivers to join our Transportation & Logistics team in the Waste Management industry. As a company driver, you will represent Republic Services and our commitment to environmental responsibility, customer service, and community safety every time you get behind the wheel of one of our iconic blue trucks. In this role, you will safely operate commercial collection vehicles to pick up, transport, and unload non-hazardous solid waste and recyclable materials from residential, commercial, and industrial customers. You will follow established routes and schedules, perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, and comply with all DOT regulations, company safety standards, and local traffic laws. You will interact with customers on your route, respond courteously to questions or concerns, and relay service issues to dispatch or route managers to help maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and account retention. Company Drivers at Republic Services are expected to maintain a clean, professional appearance, handle containers and equipment safely, and protect property while maneuvering in alleys, tight spaces, and customer locations. You will use onboard computers, routing systems, and mobile communication tools to receive assignments, record route activity, and document any service exceptions. You will work closely with dispatch, maintenance, and operations teams to report mechanical issues promptly, support efficient route completion, and ensure equipment is kept in safe operating condition. This is a physically active, field-based position that involves frequent climbing in and out of trucks, lifting, pushing, and pulling containers, and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
