What You’ll Do As an Associate HR Consultant at HR Soul, you’ll support client engagements across HR operations, talent practices, employee experience, and organizational effectiveness—working alongside senior consultants while developing your consulting skills and building direct client relationships. You’ll work with business owners, founders, CEOs, and HR leaders to stabilize, improve, and scale their people operations while aligning HR strategy to real business outcomes. Support delivery of fractional HR and project engagements , including HR operations, talent practices, and employee experience initiatives Assist with client workstreams : research, documentation, process mapping, data analysis, and project coordination Develop client deliverables such as proposals, process guides, playbooks, and executive summaries Provide employee relations guidance (conflict resolution, performance concerns, policy interpretation) Facilitate project meetings and working session with clients and stakeholders Demonstrate commercial awareness , developing knowledge around scoping, pricing, and client relationship management Support client relationship management and help identify opportunities to add value Participate in networking events and community engagement as a representative of HR Soul, building professional connections within the Central Florida community What You Bring You’re someone with strong foundational HR skills who’s ready to grow into a more strategic, consultative role. You’re organized, curious, adaptable, and excited to learn from experienced consultants while building your own client-facing capabilities. Must-Haves 4 years of HR experience in roles such as HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, HRBP, Recruiter, People Operations Specialist or similar. Depth in at least one HR discipline (talent acquisition, employee relations, HR operations, learning & development, compensation & benefits, etc.) Experience supporting leaders and managers on HR matters Strong organizational skills and ability to multiple tasks or projects simultaneously Strong writing and synthesis ability (clear, executive-ready deliverables) Digitally fluent; comfort with data and basic HR analytics (reporting, tracking metrics, identifying trends) A bias for action — if there’s not a clear path forward, you build one A natural connector who is comfortable with contributing to business growth through networking, thought leadership, and deepening client relationships Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future Nice-to-Haves Consulting experience in a boutique or advisory environment HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.) or working toward one Experience conducting HR audits or organizational assessments Experience implementing and/or configuring HR systems (HRIS, HCM, ATS) Experience using AI tools to improve HR processes or deliverables (documentation, analytics, program design) Working at HR Soul HR Soul is a boutique HR consultancy built for leaders who want strategic HR support without the overhead of a full-time executive hire.
